How to rock your Bridal session with DIY flowers from your backyard

How to rock your Bridal session with DIY flowers from your backyard

As much as I love the outdoors, the beach, the forest and adventuring around town. It is so nice to be in my studio relaxed and controlling the environment, the lights the breeze and yes, the sparkling water. The Makeup artist does her magic @bufordbeauty for an hour or so while we all drink sparkling water and chat and pet my two studio dogs Kekoa and Zuma who normally lay around and beg for affection.

We normally do a two to three looks. Sarah wanted to channel her inner goddess so we used my backyard flowers to create a tropical bridal goddess.

If you are on the fence about taking bridal sessions, DO IT! It is so fun. Some brides channel their inner Madonna while others do a bit more risque and use this session for their soon to be husband as a gift. The photos are for you and me and my team is here to help you accomplish your vision.

The flower crown was made very simply, we put Sarah’s hair in a low bun with a few strands out the front. We had a simple black headband and placed, tucked and safety pinned the flowers until it looked gorgeous. So simple, so cost effective and such a beautiful statement. A nice revision of the old flower crown. Here are a few more lovelies from the session.
