Sorathana & Tim’s Makapu’u Family Session

 

Makapu’u is one of my favorite shoot locations since it offers breathtaking scenery for photography and exudes the most lovely beach vibes. From a gorgeous beach, fine sand, beautiful blue sky, patches of greenery, rocky terrains to tidepools, Makapu’u has it all. So, whenever there’s an opportunity to create my clients’ portraits in Makapu’u, I get all excited and happy as a creative soul. With such breathtaking backdrops to create your images, I think any photographer would be as overjoyed as I get to capture these stunning visuals! So, when my beautiful couple, Sorathana and Tim, gave me this chance again, I was too delighted. I did a family photo shoot for them and their little boys and totally enjoyed the session. The photos we created together turned out to look so amazing!

 

Makapu’u Beach Family Photography

 

Sorathana and Tim are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and their boys are super sweet. These little cherubs brought so much positive energy to our session and totally nailed the images with their adorable expressions and cutesy looks. 

I loved the way this whole family had color-coordinated their attire. Tim and the kids were dressed up in white and pastel blue, while Sorathana wore a lovely baby pink dress. All these shades blended so beautifully with the surroundings and gave the images a coherent look. Another precious thing this family of four wore throughout the session was their bright smile. In fact, the sweet, little laughs that Sorathana and Tim shared here and there along with the cute chuckling of the children were so heartwarming and soul-satisfying at the same time. 

Witnessing this lovely family share moments of joy, have fun, tickle each other, and spend some quality time in each other’s company was so rewarding! Especially, capturing those precious mother-son moments was such a pleasure. The love that a mother has for her children was so evident in Sorathana’s eyes. For me, it’s always an indescribable experience, and capturing these moments is truly worth its while! But, it wasn’t just the pictures with the mom that stole my heart. I also took photos of the siblings to bring out the bond they share with each other. The image of Sorathana and Tim sitting with the kids in front also turned out to look so incredible. And all these little moments made this session a refreshing and fun workday for me.

Sorathana and Tim, both of you are true gems. I really enjoyed being in your company, and photographing you two with your boys was an honor. The kids were so much fun to be around, and I’m happy to have gotten the opportunity to meet and photograph them. Also, Makapu’u always makes me happy and so it did this time too. I loved creating all those beautiful family portraits for you guys amid such gorgeous settings.
