Located in the town of Waimea, the Anna Ranch Heritage Center offers a lovely indoor wedding and reception space complete with beautiful French windows, a timeless and classic touch, provides a full kitchen as well as a cocktail/reception patio overlooking Wa‘iau‘ia stream.
The Anna Ranch Heritage Center offers several outdoor venue locations, acres of manicured lawns and gardens with ample parking and public facilities.

When a large elegant space is required, the front lawn of Anna’s Historic Home can accommodate up to 300 people under sunny Hawaiian skies, twinkling nighttime stars or in a beautifully decorated bridal tent anytime.

What services do you offer at your wedding venue?
We are only the venue space providing exclusive use of our historical grounds and Anna Hall, along with parking and restroom accommodations.
How does a couple customize their wedding?
Our couples are able to create their wedding in it’s entirety, using the venues natural beauty as their canvas, we strive to create the most memorable and intimate occasion. Having such beautifully manicured grounds helps in that they don’t have to add much to the outside decor. We also work with numerous wedding vendors and are able to steer our couples towards the best local vendors given their vision to help create the perfect special day!
What are your backup rain options?
In the event that it rains, Anna Hall serves as the optimal indoor space that can be utilized as a backup ceremony option. our average wedding here at the ranch is 150 guests, so an event tent is available to be used for the reception.
What sets your wedding location apart on the Big Island?
What sets us apart from other island venues is that Anna Ranch is a non-profit charitable trust listed on both the State and National Register of Historic Places. We also only rent to one renter at a time providing an exclusive intimate setting for the couple, their friends and family. We are also reasonably priced.
What advice can you give to a bride and groom about getting married in Hawaii?
Hawaii is the perfect location for a destination wedding allowing people to connect somewhere neutral and sometimes somewhere in the middle. And Hawaii Island is a location where wedding guests are able to choose from a gamut of options for different activities. Hawaii island offers 10 different climate zones for guests to explore. I would recommend taking advantage of what the island has to offer, and consider as there is so much more to experience than sunbathing on a beach and drinking Mai Tai’s.
