Also, if you wish for some private and intimate time with your partner while you get some mind-blowing engagement images taken, there are plenty of locations you can choose from in Hawaii. This gorgeous island has something for every couple, especially those who want to soak in the natural beauty, refreshing vibes, and a vast, sparkling ocean before their eyes. As a photographer, I can say that the picturesque views Hawaii Islands offer never fail to wow me, even if I visit a location many times over. Now, imagine getting not one, not two, or even three but four such exquisite locations to photograph your couple in. Even the thought of it is so exciting!!! And this is exactly what I got when Lucy and Mark decided to get their engagement portraits done at Makapu’u, Halona Blowhole, Hoomaluhia Gardens, and Waimanalo – and chose me to document their journey. Woah! What a fun and creatively satisfying day it was, and my couple was such a joy to work with.

 

Hawaii Engagement Photography

 

My lovely couple, Lucy and Mark, had first met in college. They love to visit new places together, so choosing four distinct locations in Hawaii for their engagement session was only natural. Honestly, their choice didn’t just make them super happy and excited but was also a bonus for me. I had such sublime views and incredible settings at my disposal to create those romantic photos of my couple and try a lot more with their shots.

 

Spending time with Lucy and Mark at such idyllic locations amid the soothing greenery, beautiful blue skies, earthy rocks, other naturally formed structures, and the striking turquoise ocean was such a joy. We watched the sunrise at the Makapu’u Lookout and then moved to the beach. Next, we were at the Halona Blowhole, where we created some more impressive photos. Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens was our next destination. It provided us with stellar views and stunning scenery. The images we got here turned out to look so ethereal and captivating. At Waimanalo Beach, Lucy and Mark put on their sunglasses and popped champagne. Seeing my couples have some fun on their shoot makes me so happy. It ensures that they are having a good time and helps me capture those moments into memorable images.

 

Throughout the session, my couple was in such high spirits. They walked hand in hand, laughed, embraced each other, and exchanged kisses to express their love for each other. For a few photos, they posed while I also took some candids for them. This utterly photogenic couple was extremely comfortable in front of the camera, making my job of highlighting Lucy and Mark’s strong bond of love through my photos a lot easier. My couple also paid good attention to their looks for this photo session. They changed their attire a couple of times, which perfectly synced with the surroundings. Especially, Lucy’s red dress against the lush greenery added a perfect pop of color to the photos.

 

Witnessing my couple so lost in each other’s love even as they enjoyed their engagement photo session was my favorite part of the day. The other highlights were the unique drone photos I took of my couple, which allowed me to add a feel of the crashing waves, sun-kissed shores, and rocky terrain in the images in greater detail. And I’m totally in love with how they have turned out. Lucy and Mark, I hope the images bring you as much joy as I had while creating them for you!
