If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable proposal, there’s nothing quite like a beach proposal. There’s something about the sound of the waves, the smell of the salt air, and the feel of sand between your toes that makes it the perfect setting for declaring your love. Plus, what could be more romantic than getting down on one knee as the sun rises over the horizon? I recently had the pleasure of photographing Brian’s sunrise proposal at Lanikai Beach in Oahu, Hawaii and it was an awesome experience. When Brian reached out to me to be the proposal photographer, he already had planned everything! I’ve done surprise proposals before and I knew I was going to have a great time documenting the sweet couple’s proposal story. And that’s exactly what happened.

Planning a beach proposal does take some effort. And Brian’s sunrise proposal photography at Lanikai Beach in Oahu, Hawaii was nothing short of amazing. It took some convincing for Brian to get his partner to wake up early and head out to the beach without suspicion, but it was all worth it when he got down on one knee and popped the question. The look on her face was priceless. The sun was just peeking over the horizon, casting a glow of pink and orange over the entire scene. It was just an incredibly special moment, and I was able to capture the whole thing on camera. They now have a stunning memory to look back on for years to come. 

Brian and his partner were a delight to photograph! They were so romantic and posed naturally for all of their couples portraits. It was clear that they were having a great time, and they really brought out the best in each other. They were so natural and romantic together, that it was so easy to pose them! They were laughing and joking the whole time, and their love for each other was really evident in everything they did. Their happiness was contagious and it was a joy to capture their amazing chemistry on camera. 

Brian’s proposal photography at the beach had all the romantic feels! Maybe it was the serene sound of the waves in the background, or the breathtaking morning scenery. Whatever the reason, planning a proposal at the beach was an incredibly romantic move on Brian’s part! The beautiful location, the perfect lighting, and the genuine moments all came together to create unforgettable photographs.
